Located at the westernmost tip of the island, Negril is a gorgeous beach resort town in the parishes of Westmoreland and Hanover. The name of the town is credited to the Spanish, who gave the name ‘Negrillo’ to the town, and the name today, ‘Negril’, would be its cropped version. Known for its beautiful beaches and offerings for tourists, Negril is definitely worth a visit while touring the island.
