A multi-purpose arena by definition, Prospera Place is one of the major sporting and cultural venues in the city. Home of the Kelowna Rockets, the venue is largely used for ice-hockey matches, and is one of the major WHL venues. With a capacity to host 6,286, the area transforms into a site of pure exhilaration, each time the local favorites face-off against their rivals. Apart from hockey, the arena is also well-equipped for figure-skating and also hosts concerts and cultural events.
