2715 South Street Louis Avenue, Chicago, IL, United States, 60623
Also known as La Villita, Little Village is a serious misnomer for a neighborhood that has well over a 1000 vendors, cafes, shops and carts. A largely Hispanic population has lent this area a distant Mexican flavor which hits you right from the time you step into the gateway with the words 'Bienvenidos' engraved across it. Hawkers selling churros, nachos and similar Latin tid-bits will entice you with their freshly-prepared delicacies. The 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade is held here amid much fanfare.
