Built in 1951, the Waldbühne Altenbrak is an outdoor event venue located in the Harz mountains. Fashioned from the natural gradation of the mountainous landscape, the amphitheater can seat more that 800 viewers. The venue hosts a number of musical events, cultural events and festivals. One of the more popular shows is the Harzer Yodel Competition that takes place every year on the first Sunday of September. Check website for further details.
