Located at the heart of the city, the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center is a complex of three buildings that are dedicated to the spread of art and culture in this part of Colorado. The center was founded in 1972 and in the past 30 years has been a major driving force in development of art. The structures inside the complex comprises a theater which has a seating capacity for 500 spectators, Buell Children’s Museum and art galleries, all included in the total area of approximately 90,000 square feet.
