Museum of the Rockies or MOR as it's commonly called was set up in 1957 by Caroline McGill. Housing within it an unbelievable 300,000 objects spanning over 500,000 years of history, this museum has caught the fancy of young school kids and old researchers too, who are impressed by the mammoth dinosaur exhibits, American Indian artifacts, the planetarium and exciting temporary exhibitions. The stunning permanent exhibitions are all about the evolution of the Rockies mountains for the past 4 billion years!
