The magnificent castle features a unique architectural style and features elements from Neo-Gothic, Romanesque Revival, Neo-Baroque and Neo-Renaissance architecture. The castle was a residence for many nobles like Carl Ferdinand Stumm and Gilbert Grandwal, among many others. Now, the castle is a popular tourist destination and attracts history and culture enthusiasts. The former out-house of the castle has been converted into a restaurant offering German and French delicacies.
