Musée des Beaux Arts - Tours

The Tours Fine Art Museum was created in 1801. It contains a great collection of artwork that spans many genres, for instance: neo-classicism with works by Suvée and Taillasson, romanticism with works by Vinchon, orientalism with works by Belly, Chassériau and Delacroix, realism with works by Bastien-Lepage, Cazin and Gervex, and impressionism with works by Monet and Degas. Some famous sculptures by Rodin, Barye, David d'Angers and Bourdelle are also on display, as well as 20th Century masterpieces by Geneviève Asse, Calder, Davidson, Debré, Maurice Denis, Zao Wou-ki and more.
