Marienkirche, an evangelical church dedicated to Saint Mary, is one of the oldest churches in the city and dates back to the early 14th Century. The imposing Gothic structure has undergone several modifications through time but has managed to retain its original style. With high turrets, sharply arching tall windows and several beautiful pieces in its interior including an ornate choir and baptismal front, the church is definitely a place worth visiting. It is also known for its organ which was installed in the 19th Century.
