The Avada Center for the Arts & Humanities features theater, concerts, visual arts, education, and recreation for all ages. The Center houses three theaters - the Main Stage Theater and Black Box Theater inside and the Outdoor Amphitheater, which has both covered seating and a lawn area. Along with a full theater program, the Arvada Center also hosts musical performances of all styles, with summer performances typically taking place in the amphitheater. There are also two floors of gallery space at the Arvada Center, which hold 12 to 15 exhibitions every year as well as a museum dedicated to the historical and cultural background of Arvada. Both the galleries and the museum are free of charge and open daily. Education programs at the Center include dance, ceramics, photography and theater arts.
