Merkur Spiel-Arena

Built over a span of two years from 2002-2004, Merkur Spiel-Arena is a state of the art multi-purpose stadium in Düsseldorf. It is the home ground of the local team Fortuna Dusseldorf, and although the stadium is primarily used for football fixtures, cultural extravaganzas are staged here regularly. The likes of Madonna, Depeche Mode, Linkin Park, Rolling Stones, and Bon Jovi have performed here in the past. It is equipped with first-class amenities like a retractable roof and a special heating system and can accommodate a multitude of enthusiastic patrons at once.
