One of Germany's oldest theaters, St. Pauli is located on the Reeperbahn, right next to the legendary Davidwache (David's Watch) outside the old city walls of Hamburg. It prides itself on being Hamburg's own Broadway, staging both contemporary and classic literature plays as well as cabaret and comedy productions. Hamburg's renowned Cabaret Festival has its home here. If you're also in the mood for a pantomime, musical or mariner's tale, make sure you visit this theater. Many famous personalities have performed here and there is good reason to believe that many more will follow.
