Plaza de Toros de Estepona is a huge bullring that was built 1972 to promote the favorite local sport, bullfights. Patrons come here from far off places to witness the 16 bullfights that take place here annually. During the summer months when no such sport is taking place, the venue doubles up as a concert space where live acts, gigs and revues take place.
