The first of its kind, Peoria Sports Complex is a spring training facility shared by two Major League Baseball giants, the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners. Constructed in 1994, its cutting-edge architecture is a reference point for new stadiums across the nation. Among a host of amenities, it also offers player development and rehabilitation services. Sprawling over 145 acres (58 hectares), it encompasses 12 practice fields, two clubhouses, fitness facilities, state-of-the-art lighting and a seating capacity for over 10,000. The versatile grounds host top championships and tournaments at the youth and professional level, as well as concerts, shows, fundraisers, wedding receptions and private events.
