Théâtre Municipal d'Anzin is one of the few remaining heritage theaters in France. It opened in 1934 and is one of the finest theaters in the region. Franco-Roman architecture sits pretty on the theater building, while gorgeous frescoes adorn its walls and ceilings. The theater can house about 1246 people at once during performances. Dramas, concerts, dances, and a host of other cultural activities take place at this elegant venue.
