A landmark in L.A. since 1942, Edelweiss is a class act not to be missed. Check out the wonderful chocolate-covered cherries and do not dismiss the chocolate-covered truffles. While other candy makers take pride in their diverse assortment of boxed candy, this is an establishment that prides itself on its freshness. In fact, while waiting one's turn, it is more than likely that you will see recently-dipped items coming fresh from the kitchen. Be prepared to pay through the nose for these delicacies, your mouth will thank you profusely.
