The Faurot Field is a football field in Columbia, Missouri. The field is a part of The Memorial Stadium which was named in honor of the alumni of The University of Missouri, who lost their lives in World War I. The spectacular horseshoe shaped stadium was famous for the white stoned letter “M”, constructed on one end of the field which was replaced after renovations . Apart from football, soccer is also played during off-season and this field is of major historical significance to the city.
