Redbird Arena was established in the year 1989 on the premises of Illinois State University. It is built with a hard surface, Teflon roof, as well as modern light and sound amenities assuring every visitor has a good sporting experience. It is mainly used as a basketball tournament arena for both the men's and women's teams. The arena is also the home arena for the basket and volleyball teams.
