Located in Stuart, FL, about a 30-minute drive north of Jupiter, the Lyric brings a bit of culture to Florida's Treasure Coast. Built in 1926, it first opened as a silent-movie theater until it shuttered the doors during the Great Depression. Over the last seven decades, it had been used in various capacities, but then in 2014, with the help of community efforts and grants, the Lyric was finally finished with its renovations. Today, the theater has state-of-the-art equipment and modern comforts for guests like a lobby bar, plush seating and 'whisper-perfect' acoustics.
