The News Journal Center (NJC) is located at Daytona State College. One of the college's many event venues, the NJC is most certainly the best-looking and the best-equipped. It stands on the banks of the Halifax River, offering majestic views of Downtown Daytona Beach and the beautiful cityscape. NJC houses a gorgeous proscenium-style Main Theater with a fly tower, an orchestra pit, brilliant lighting system, and a smaller Studio Theater with a stage at the center of the audience seating. With exquisite interiors, flawless facilities, a plush lobby, and stunning rehearsal spaces with mirrored walls and wooden floors, NJC is an artist's paradise. Theater, concerts, conferences, seminars, graduation events and more are staged here.
