Not to be outdone by the Grand Opera House or the Baby Grand, the Playhouse on Rodney Square holds its own. Entertaining the residents of Wilmington for 146 years, this playhouse showcases national touring productions of Broadway shows. A beautiful Victorian theater which opened its doors in 1913, it was formerly known as the DuPont Theater. Currently, it holds concerts, comedies, musicals, all kinds of plays and tribute shows.
