Luxor Theater was established as early as 1917 and flourished as an amazing venue for events. Over a period of years, however, the organizers felt the need to create a larger theater that could host other events too. This idea transformed into the formation of the Nieuwe Luxor Theater at a new location, leaving the old to be demolished. However, plans changed and instead of destroying the Oude Luxor Theater, it is still used for certain events. This theater which has the capacity to accommodate 900 individuals currently, is in talks with the necessary people to undergo renovations. Call ahead for more information.
