Marseilles Hotel

The Marseilles is a veritable art deco castle. Occupying a central spot on Collins Avenue, it was designed in 1948 by renowned European architect Robert Swatburg. All the features that make deco unique come into play are here; flat and curved walls, ceiling lighting, use of glass blocks and neon, and cast iron railings.
