Set up and managed by Hans Nilson, the historic Ole Bull Scene has witnesses many eccentric theatrical productions, including one which had live animals sauntering on the stage. The theater was converted into a cinema in 1937 however history was meant to repeat itself and by the 70's, stage performances began to be held here again. 19th October 2000 was when the cinema closed for good and the Ole Bull was back to its former avatar. Now it is one of Bergen's premier entertainment venues, regularly hosting cabaret, orchestras and concerts.
