"Cento" (pronounced with the soft "ch") is Italian for one hundred. In Bar Cento's case, it means one hundred different wines on the menu. Beer fans will also be able to check out Bar Cento's next door neighbor and partner, the Bier Markt. Bar Cento provides more than just alcohol; it is also a full restaurant, notable for its Mediterranean cuisine and its full kitchen being open until 2a. There is also a daily "happy hour" from opening until 7p, and other events, such as “The Rock and Roll Wine Project” which mixes live vinyl DJs and wine tasting. The menu focuses on pizzas, and includes both traditional Italian-style, such as the Margherita, and "modern" pizza such as the Sunnyside Pizza with eggs and pancetta. Entrées include Acorn Squash Ravioli or Brick Oven Chicken. Bar Cento is also famous for its fries, which are cooked with rosemary or garlic.
