The history of Wortham Theater Center-Cullen Theater is awe inspiring. It was said to have been built in the 1980’s, during the worst times a community would expect to construct a magnificent theater in Houston, Texas. It was believed to be one of the first Opera houses and still is a grand venue, hosting magnificent performances by brilliant performers. This fabulous venue houses two theaters, based on their seating capacity, shows are on display and it is a delight to visit this venue.
