St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts was opened in 1970 with an aim to provide a multi-purpose entertainment facility for the people of Toronto. One such space, is the Bluma Appel Theatre, consisting of 876 seats and an adaptable proscenium stage which doubles up as a vast front stage or an orchestra pit according to the requirement of the event.
