Plaza de Espaňa, calle de Feraz, Madrid, Spain, 28013
Plaza de Espaňa is one of the largest and most popular squares in Madrid. It is near the Royal Palace in Madrid and has two of the largest buildings to boast of—Edificio de España (Spain Building) and the Torre de Madrid (Madrid Tower). It also has the famous and esoteric Templo de Debod—an Egyptian temple. There is a monument dedicated to Miguel de Cervantes' famous characters, Don Quixote de la Mancha and his trusted squire Sancho Panza. A common sight here is tourists getting their pictures clicked with the gleaming monuments in the background. Plaza de Espaňa also has a pool and an expansive green area which is used extensively by children to play and couples to stroll on.
