Piet Heinkade 1, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 1019 BR
Promoting itself as a concert hall of the 21st century, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ is a prominent concert venue in the city, as well as the whole of The Netherlands. Opened in 2005, this structure is a marvel of modern architecture, built by the Danish architectural firm 3XN, and features a glass facade, movable walls, and state-of-the-art facilities. The facility has two concert halls, the Great Hall and the BAM Hall, with the former being able to accommodate 725 and the latter 100. Besides the halls, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ also has spaces for exhibitions, including its foyers and the Cafe Star Ferry.
