The Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn, is an oval shaped plaza that marks the entrance to the Prospect Park. It has oval rings that form streets and the outer ring is called the Plaza street. Most famous for the Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Arch that was made on the lines of France's Arc de Triomphe, it includes busts of famous Brooklyn residents and also of great Civil War generals. The Central Library and Plaza fountains form an integral part of the plaza. Bailey fountain also features in its main attractions. Apart from exhibiting some of the finest works of architecture, the plaza also hosts art exhibitions and plays.
