Nestled in an old building with a cast-iron facade that once housed a Dominican speakeasy, Market Hotel is marked by a white metal door and is a workspace to eight kids in a semi-sketchy part of Brooklyn. Also known as 'Harket Motel', this space is used as a venue for performers to showcase their talents. It is a great place to check out the local music scene and No Age and Dan Deacon are some of the artists who have entertained the patrons here. Puppet shows and chili cook-offs are also held at this venue and it is a cultural hub in its truest sense.
