This theater is housed in a building that is the first in the region to be registered in the National Register of Historic Places. It has also attained the LEED Platinum status but has also been featured in Forbes Magazine's list of greenest buildings in United States. Currently it houses the Portland Center Stage theater company. Free tours of the theater are arranged on the first and third Saturdays of each month and it can also be rented out for events like social gathering or performances. Portland Center Stage at the Armory is the place to be for theater enthusiasts while in the city.
