Laurence Frost Amphitheater is 22 feet (6.7 meters) of ground dug up with raised embankment of similar distance, thus making this amphitheater look like a wooden hill. Surrounded by trees, flowers and shrubs, this amphitheater is very picturesque. The maple tree, flowering apple, mountain lilac, birch and other such trees add to the beauty of this place. The venue is used by the Stanford University, within which it is located, for programs, ceremonies and performances. The Fourth of July fireworks are pretty legendary here!
