Opened in 1891 the Everyman Theatre has gone through a number of transformations and changed ownership a number of times. During World War II, the theatre became a hot spot for actors due to the closure of London theaters. The auditorium has two balconies and is beautifully and ornately decorated. More than a performance venue, Everyman aims to get everyone involved in the arts. For a listing of events and performances, see the website for details.
