The Nelson Mandela Forum is a prominent indoor sports and entertainment arena. The venue boasts a seating capacity of 7,500 for basketball games and can accommodate up to 8,262 people for concerts. The compound is dedicated to various facilities like a main arena, a boxing training center, two gym areas, a free climbing facility, and open spaces that house three permanent exhibitions on human rights. In addition to sporting events, the Forum also serves as a space for concerts, political conferences, and exhibitions. A mural by South African artist Esther Mahalangu is also a highlight of this facility.
