Built in 1939 by Frank Aiken, the National Stadium, Dublin is one of the world's first arenas dedicated to boxing. Not only are both amateur and professional boxing events conducted here, but the venue also plays host to music concerts, conferences and other events. Rock and roll and men throwing punches create a venue that combines two diverse classic pastimes. With seating capacity of 2,080 and about 55 boxing events taking place throughout the year, in addition to other events, certainly check out their upcoming schedule and head here for a great time.
