Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium is the turf of the Navy Midshipmen's football and lacrosse teams, and Chesapeake Bayhawks. Opened in 1959, it was built in honor of those in the Marine Corps and Navy. It underwent a major renovation between 2002 to 2005 to become a top-notch facility for the Navy to host sprint football, lacrosse and football. Besides these, it also is used for state level, national and international sporting events. The Bilderback-Moore Navy Lacrosse Hall of Fame on-site proudly displays the history, awards and tradition of the Navy's lacrosse team.
