O2 Academy Islington

Opened in September of 2003 and formerly the Carling Academy Islington, O2 Academy Islington showcases hot new bands alongside headliners like Franz Ferdinand and R.E.M. The venue joins the ranks of other venues all over Britain that have hosted Elton John, Madonna, The Who, and other top stars.
