The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum consider themselves a laboratory for museum education. They have programs for adults, children, teens and teachers. Programs are created so that it helps individuals understand art. The only museum of contemporary art that does not collect, but just exhibits art. Named after Larry Aldrich, fashion designer and collector, in 1981 the museum decided to de-access the museum collection. Works of emerging artists are featured in the exhibitions held here. The museum store offers books and art works, and also environment friendly works of art.
