Nassau County Museum of Art

Nassau County Museum of Art was recently voted as one of the 'Top Ten Museums' in New York area and also the best museum of Long Island. With the largest garden decorated with outdoor sculptures in the Northeast, the museum is a cultural resource for its county as well as a place where works of international artists are displayed. There are some great miniature works in the Tee Ridder Miniature museum located in the same complex. Special cultural programs are also held at this museum and it is open to the public on rental basis for private events. Check the website for upcoming lectures, events and art classes.
