Housed inside the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, the Gerald W. Lynch Theater hosts a variety of cultural events and festivals throughout the year. Named after the former President of the college, the theater has been serving as a cultural ground since 1988. With a total capacity for around 600 people, this place has witnessed landmark events in the culture and art genre. Besides the grand cultural extravaganza, the theater also takes part in educational lectures, conferences, and business receptions for the city's public service departments.
