László Papp Budapest Sportaréna

A mere four years after the original Budapest Sportarena burned to the ground in 1999, the new and improved arena opened up. Named after the famous boxer Papp László, the arena is a start-of-the-art venue for a variety of events, such as concerts, conferences, exhibitions, and of course, sports, including "basketball and handball championships, tennis and gymnastics competitions, ice hockey matches and athletics events, as well as spectacular sports events like basketball shows, ice theater, motor-cross, jet-skiing, surfing competitions and presentations."
