During its heydays, the Byham Theater was the United States' top vaudeville houses and was known as the Gayety Theater. After a major renovation by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust in the 1990s, it was restored to its former glory. Donning a rococo style interior that is resplendent with its Cherub Lobby and mosaics, this historic theater is a popular spot for theatrical acts, concerts, comedy shows, film screenings, dance and musicals.
