During the boom of television, movies and media, the owners of Hampton Beach Casino decided it was time to upgrade and move with the times in order to increase revenue and tourism. This was the foundation of the Casino Ballroom. It was built on the lines of old English ballrooms that have a capacity of thousands of guests. Over the years the ballroom underwent several transformations to accommodate the changing music scene. Now it is known to host some of the biggest concerts with prominent artists from the music industry.
