This theater has been standing tall and proud since 1923. Patchogue Theater was first introduced to New York as the ‘Ward and Glynne's Patchogue Theatre.' In its golden years, Patchogue attracted a lot of vaudeville and Broadway productions. Stars of the non-talkies era: Gloria Swanson, Rudolf Valentino and the legendary Barrymores have performed at this theater. In the chronological context, it witnessed the great depression; as well as a break-out of fire in its environs circa 1928. The subsequent years, were followed with a shut down, only to see the light of the day in 1992. Since then, this grandeur personified acting ground is going strong with sparkling performances as well as live Led Zeppelin acts! It's not been a bad patch at all!
