Mahaffey Theatre

Located on the waterfront within the Progress Energy Center for the arts, the Mahaffey Theater offers a dramatic backdrop, as well as an unparalleled view of Tampa Bay. It hosts performances from Broadway, the Florida Orchestra, including family shows, ballet, jazz, opera, and symphonic and popular music. It's one of the most recognizable landmarks in St. Petersburg and is located within walking distance of fine shops, eateries, and museums. The beach isn't too far either.
