O2 Apollo Manchester was opened in the 1930s by the thirties siren Margaret Lockwood. This venue has 2693 seats, and 3500 can stand downstairs. Designed by Peter Cummings, Gillespie Williams and Alex Irvine, this venue has seen all the bigwigs of the music industry perform for several decades. Everyone from Snoop Dogg, Geri Halliwell to Daniel Bedingfield and Judas Priest have enthralled a live audience here.
