The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, and rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.
