One of Broadway's intimate theaters, the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, was named after the famed New York Times drama critic in 1960. Built in 1926, this theater has been host to many of Broadway's most famous shows. The Brooks Atkinson also nurtured some of Hollywood's finest talents like Kevin Spacey, Matthew Broderick, Marisa Tomei, to name a few. This theatre is part of the nine theaters owned by the prolific Nederlander group.
