Jerusalem's International Convention Center, which with 27 meeting halls is the largest meeting facility in the Middle East also houses Israel's largest auditorium. The Ussishkin Auditorium seats an audience of more than 3000 and hosts pop stars and classical concerts. Stars such as Sir Elton John have performed here and the auditorium is also home to the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra. The site occupied by the modern, airy Convention Center was once an earthenware factory belonging to the Romans. There is plentiful parking as well as coffee shops, restaurants, a bank and gift shop.
